The Overview Team

Hey, my name’s Tagg (yep like tag you’re it) and I’m an Aero/Astro PhD student at Stanford University.

I received my Bachelor’s in Applied Physics at Brigham Young University where I spent several years working on sonic booms and rocket launch acoustics with NASA, but in my PhD I use supercomputers to design and test aerospace vehicles.

Because I didn’t come from a big aerospace school, I’ve always enjoyed creating connections across institutions and expanding my aerospace network. All it takes to be friends with me is to tell me a good new pun (bonus points if it’s a Tagg pun!) or to geek out over a recent rocket launch together.

Hey, I’m Anshuk from Hyderabad, India. I’m currently a master's student in Aeronautics and Astronautics at Stanford University, and recently got my BS in Aerospace from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

My specialty is in GNC, Autonomy and robotics, so I like to describe myself as the guy who helps the rocket go where it needs to go (eventually to Mars of course). I was previously a flight software and GNC intern at SpaceX, where I focused on booster landing.

I like to keep myself in the loop with the ever-expanding new-space industry and exciting advances in autonomy and GNC. In my free time, you’ll see me rewatching Interstellar for the umpteenth time, going through the technical nuances of Formula 1, or listening to movie soundtracks.

Hi there! I’m Maggie, a PhD student in Aeronautics and Astronautics at Stanford. I grew up in the Bay Area and got my undergrad and master's in Physics and Computer Science at Harvard.

After graduating, I worked on drone autonomy at Skydio for almost two years. I'm excited to share my research journey and explorations into 3D perception and reasoning in robotics.

In my free time, I love exploring art, spirituality, and yoga—which I believe are all connected to aerospace. To me, it’s all about connecting with and exploring the inner and outer world. So, join us as we explore together! :)

G’day. I’m Isaac (but you can call me Ike) — I’m from Western Australia and am currently across the pond doing a PhD in Aero/Astro at Stanford.

I'm all about the exploration of extreme and scientifically interesting environments, and I reckon that autonomy, robotics, and artificial intelligence is our only ticket there.

When I’m off the clock you can find me tinkering with my camera, playing my guitar, or tracking down and photographing epic terrestrial beasts. Feel free to reach out to me if you want to chat space 👽, robots 🤖, or rock & roll 😎!
